Welcome to my Mother's Day Section!
As I am a mother of five and a grandmother of nine, I must say that
I love Mother's Day. The gifts have never been of importance to me,
but the attention I receive on this day is so very special.
As a mother of grown children, I don't see my children as often as I
did when they lived with me. This
is as it should be, because it shows that we brought them up to lead
their own productive lives, with their own families.
Mother's Day brings us together with our children, grown or not, in
a especially tender way. On this day, its not just "Hey Mom",
but "I Love You Mom, Thank you for being my Mom".
I want to mention all the non-traditional Mom's also. There are time
when Dad or an aunt, a grandmother, a friend, or some other person has
to step in for Mom. They will also be thought of with tenderness this
Mother's Day by those they "MOTHER".
